In pursuing this real life as defined by John 10:10, Dream City Church holds seven core values. These values are not the guidelines of the day-to-day operations of an organization, but a calling on the personal lives of those who call Dream City home.

John & Angel Weasel

Lead Pastors

John and Angel have been an integral part of Dream City since its genesis. Over the years, they’ve worn many hats, giving them a deep understanding of both the demands of ministry and what’s essential for a healthy church. They have served as Lead Pastors since 2018. Married since 2006, John and Angel are proud parents of four children: Jayce, Isaiah, Carter, and Jewell.

John is an exceptional Bible teacher and captivating communicator with a unique ability to make Scripture come alive. His teaching invites people into the depth and freedom found in and through God’s Word. John studied Biblical Studies at Trinity Bible College and completed leadership development through Bellevue University. There’s also a rumor he holds several PhDs from YouTube. When he’s not preparing to equip others, you’ll likely find him on the golf course or spending quality time with his family.

Angel brings a rare blend of theology and psychology to her preaching and leadership. With an insatiable hunger for God’s Word and a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling, Angel passionately champions emotional health and spiritual maturity in every believer. She has a unique gift for helping people understand themselves in ways that lead to genuine freedom. When she’s not teaching or counseling, she’s usually enjoying the outdoors with her favorite people.
