DISCIPLESHIP

The Dream City Omaha discipleship ministry is critical in our mission to help everyone discover Christ, recover identity, and uncover purpose. You can explore our six- to eight-week terms below and click on each image for more information on each class to map out your discipleship journey for the next year. Registration for each class will open approximately a month before the term begins.

All Wednesday Night Classes begin at 7 p.m., coinciding with Dream City Youth and Dream City Kids activities. Our Sunday courses are held during our 8:30 a.m. service.

TERM 1 - JANUARY 4 THROUGH FEBRUARY 25

    FAILING FORWARD

    The difference between average people and achieving people is their perception of and response to failure. Discover how to confidently look the prospect of failure in the eye and move forward anyway. In life, the question is not if you will have problems, but how you are going to deal with them?     SINGLE MINDED PURSUIT

    Learn to navigate this season of singleness, regardless of how you got here, with grace and hope. This class is full of biblical truths on wholeness, purpose, identity, purity, and more. From topics like sex, masturbation, dating apps, this class answers all those questions you want answers to but don’t know who to ask.

TERM 4 - JUNE 21 THROUGH AUGUST 12

    UNVEILED - SUNDAY CLASS

    Whether you are a new believer, a seasoned saint, or simply someone who feels stuck and wants to grow deeper in their relationship with God, Unveiled is for you. The Unveiled class is designed to help you navigate some of the obstacles that are keeping you from walking in the abundant life. Unveiled is designed to equip you to reconcile the reality of your life with the truth of God’s word.

    Marriage doesn’t have to be full of frustration and disappointment, you can have a passionate relationship that will stand the test of time.

The material taught in this class discusses practical real-life challenges and offers easy to understand solutions even if you are the only one willing to work on the relationship.

    FORGIVE

    Forgiving anyone in a meaningful way is one of the hardest things a person has to do. If you do not, resentment and vengeance begin to consume you. Forgiveness is an essential process in healing from the pain that comes with being human but few of us feel equipped with the skills necessary to walk it out long enough to see the fruit of it in our lives. This class will walk you through the freedom of forgiveness along with the practical skills for walking it out.

    ABUNDANT LIFE

    A Dream City Church original, this class is designed to empower men and women alike to step into Godly stewardship of their physical health. Our health is a God-given gift that we must purposely steward well. In this 8-week course rooted in biblical truth, you will be equipped to make lifestyle changes to produce lasting results that will enable you to run your race well.

    EVERYDAY EVANGELISM

    Sharing your faith is not about winning arguments; it’s about winning hearts. And the way to do that is by engaging others with love, respect, and truth. In this class, you’ll be equipped with practical, effective ways to share the truth of the gospel with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers. You’ll also be challenged to respond to God’s call to be bold—because eternity is at stake.
