The Reckoning I Genesis 33–36

This week, Jacob steps into a defining moment of reckoning where past deception, present pain, and God’s promises all collide. God reaffirms Jacob’s new identity as Israel, reminding us that God can’t bless who we pretend to be - only who we truly are. As Jacob walks through both reconciliation and deep loss, we see that pain speaks loudly, but it doesn’t get the final word. God is present not only in His promises, but also in our pain.
