Surrender begins with knowing the God we're surrendering to. In A Heart That Surrenders, we look at Abraham's willingness to lay Issac on the altar and discover that true surrender is rooted in trust. Abraham knew God well enough to place what mattered most into His hands and trust Him with the outcome. Surrender may cost us something, but knowing God gives us confidence that He can be trusted with whatever we place at the altar. So we have to ask ourselves: What are we still holding onto that God is asking us to surrender?
